This Shipping Policy explains how physical products are handled, shipped, and delivered when you order from Defiance Sound.


1. Physical Products Only

This Shipping Policy applies only to physical items, including but not limited to:

  • Vinyl records

  • Merchandise

  • Any other physical stock

Digital downloads are delivered electronically and are not subject to shipping.


2. Order Processing Time

All physical orders are processed within:

  • 2–5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays)

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email. If tracking is available, it will be included.


3. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

  • United Kingdom

  • International destinations (where available)

If shipping to your country is unavailable at checkout, please contact us before placing your order.


4. Estimated Delivery Times

Shipping times are estimates and may vary:

  • United Kingdom: 2–14 business days

  • International: 7–21 business days (depending on location and customs)

Please note:

  • Delivery times are not guaranteed

  • Delays can occur due to postal services, customs processing, weather, or high-demand periods


5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Destination

  • Weight

  • Package size

All shipping fees will be clearly displayed before payment is completed.


6. Tracking Information

Where available:

  • Tracking details will be sent by email after dispatch

  • Some low-cost shipping services may not include tracking

Once a parcel has left our hands, delivery responsibility transfers to the courier.


7. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes (International Orders)

For international orders:

  • Buyers are responsible for any customs charges, import taxes, or VAT

  • These fees are set by your local government and are outside our control

Defiance Sound is not responsible for delays or charges caused by customs.


8. Incorrect Address Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • The shipping address is correct at checkout

We are not responsible for:

  • Orders lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Failed deliveries caused by customer error

If an order is returned to us due to an address issue, additional shipping fees may apply for resending.


9. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Parcels

Defiance Sound is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by postal services

  • Parcels marked as “delivered” but reported missing

  • Theft after delivery

If your order appears lost in transit:

  • Contact us and we will assist with the courier investigation where possible

  • Refunds or replacements are not guaranteed and handled case-by-case


10. Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged:

You must contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the damaged item and packaging

If approved:

  • A replacement or refund may be issued

  • The item may need to be returned before resolution


11. Pre-Orders & Vinyl Pressings

For pre-orders or custom vinyl pressings:

  • Estimated shipping dates are provided on the product page

  • Delays may occur due to manufacturing, pressing plants, or supply issues

  • By ordering, you agree to accept possible delays without cancellation once production has begun


12. Returns (Physical Products)

Returns are only accepted where:

  • The wrong item was sent

  • The item arrived damaged or defective

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted unless legally required.
